World Wrestling Entertainment also released referee Scott Armstrong today. Armstrong was hired shortly after the company launched the ECW brand in 2006. Armstrong, son of Southern legend Bob Armstrong, also refereed for WCW following a long in-ring career. He is the brother of BG “Road Dogg” James.
