Dave Meltzer is reporting that as of several hours before WWE’s Night of Champions PPV last night that Dolph Ziggler was scheduled to beat Rey Mysterio to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion. For whatever reason, the finish was changed and they went with Mysterio retaining.
