During tonight’s 9/13 WWE Smackdown Live episode from Philadelphia, Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon announced that AJ Styles will defend the WWE World Championship against John Cena and Dean Ambrose in a triple threat match at the upcoming Smackdown only No Mercy PPV on October 9.
Cena made his return to Smackdown in his first appearance since SummerSlam.
