WWE has officially announced that Dean Ambrose will defend his newly won WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a triple threat match against Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins at the Battleground PPV on July 24 live from Washington, DC.

This announcement took place during the conclusion of Monday’s main event on RAW between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in a No. 1 Contenders match. The match ended in a double count out and when Shane McMahon attempted to restart the match, Ambrose suggested defending against both men.
