WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler issued the following comments on his official Twitter account regarding his failed bid in the Memphis mayoral race.
“Just wanted to thank everyone-supporters, followers, friends-for their support & kindness the last few months. You are why I love this city!”
As reported on yesterday, Lawler placed fifth overall receiving 4,044 votes or 4% of the final vote.
