Update on WWE Studios projects

PWInsider is reporting that WWE Studios’ latest film “Knucklehead” starring Big Show will be released in theatres on April 23. This is a contrast from past statements by the company where all future WWE Studios releases would go straight to DVD. WWE is expected to start a big promotional push for the film around WrestleMania 26. The company is already filming “My Brother’s Keeper” with John Cena in New Orleans, while another film titled “Big Red” (a coming of age comedy about a kid in the 1960s) is scheduled as well.
