Developmental talent interview for ‘Tough Enough’

WWE officials interviewed developmental talent earlier this week about having them take part in the return of the “Tough Enough” reality series on the USA Nework reports PWInsider. So it would appear at this point that WWE has interest in bringing them in as opposed to a cast of unknowns in years past. The casting process for the show is expected to end in January with the show debut some time this spring – possibly in April.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter also noted this week that former WWE/ECW star Shawn Spears (Gavin Spears) was attempting to get back in with the company by going through the “Tough Enough” application process. He had originally aligned himself with the WWP (Worldwide Wrestling Promotions) Florida based group before leaving earlier this year when things weren’t moving as planned. As reported on earlier this week, lots of indy talent are signing up for the show as well.
