According to a report by PWInsider, the original plan for season four of WWE NXT was to feature Michael Cole as a Pro for the show. The WWE reportedly had intended to put together a new commentary team involving different combinations of Josh Mathews, Todd Grisham and CM Punk. However, late yesterday afternoon a decision was made to kill the plan of using Cole as a Pro and instead keep him on commentary with Mathews.
