Syfy is currently paying around $600,000 per week to have WWE Smackdown on the network and the belief is that they were expecting at least a 2.0 rating or higher for that kind of money. While the debut show last week may have underperformed with a 1.7 rating, adding Smackdown to the network will add roughly 0.06 to Syfy’s weekly primetime ratings average and will easily be one of the highest rated shows on the network every week.
