In a move to continue cutbacks within WWE, staff at WWE Headquarters in Stamford, CT were laid off today reports PWInsider. Reports indicate that the layoffs were around 10% of the staff working in Stamford. Employees from television, WWE.com and other office area positions were let go today and more are expected to be let go tomorrow. WWE is expecting softer business going forward in 2009 and announced intentions to cut back in several areas after the new year.
