During the E! News pre-show before the Screen Actors Guild Awards, Mickey Rourke was interviewed about the support of the pro wrestling industry when it came to “The Wrestler” and Rourke said the industry has been very supportive naming Ric Flair and Roddy Piper. Rourke said he talked to Vince McMahon and added, “It looks like I’m going to Houston for WrestleMania. Y2J better look out – I’m going to kick his ass.” So it appears reports that WWE had interest in using Rourke at WrestleMania 25 this year could be coming true. WWE has yet to announce anything publicly let.
