According to a report by PWInsider, The Ultimate Warrior appearing in the new THQ video game “WWE: Legends of WrestleMania” is believed to be a deal where THQ acquired the rights to use the Warrior character and likeness for a fee that was agreed on in September 2008. This does not mean WWE and the Warrior are back on good terms as his lawsuit against the company is still ongoing stemming from their portrayl of him in the 2005 “Self-Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior” DVD release.
