PWInsider is reporting that WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett has come to terms with WWE on an agreement to become a backstage Producer for the company going forward.
Jarrett, who was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame last year, made an appearance during the Men’s Royal Rumble and then again on RAW last night.
He will be joining Sonjay Dutt, another former TNA Wrestling/Impact Wrestling talent turned backstage agent, who recently signed with WWE as well. What this means for Jarrett’s Global Force Entertainment entity going forward remains to be seen. Global Force recently transitioned into a production role with FITE helping produce Starrcast, WrestleCade and other wrestling oriented events in recent months.
Shane Helms also signs on as Producer
Wrestleview.com has also confirmed that Shane “Hurricane” Helms has signed with WWE and will also begin a new role as a backstage Producer for the company.
Helms was also backstage at RAW in Phoenix per the same report.
