WWE announced last night during Extreme Rules that Shinsuke Nakamura would defend his newly won United States Championship against Jeff Hardy on Smackdown Live this week.
Hardy requested the rematch based on the circumstances surrounding Nakamura’s win on Sunday night. Nakamura low blowed Hardy before the match officially started.
After the match, Randy Orton returned and attacked Hardy.
