Update on future of TNA video game

In regards to the future of the “TNA Impact” video game franchise, Warner Bros. recently decided against picking up the Newcastle and San Diego studios where the “NBA Ballers” and “TNA Impact” games were developed when purchasing the remaining assets of Midway Games.

As a result, Midway now has 60 days to find a buyer for the properties that Warner Bros. didn’t pick up or the product will be dropped. The first “TNA Impact” video game sold just under 300,000 units on all platforms and the feeling is that finding a buyer will be tough.

Despite the future of the “TNA Impact 2” video game being in doubt, it was already in development and TNA’s YouTube page is featuring videos of Kevin Nash and Jeremy Borash being scanned for the game:
