As assumed last night, the woman who “attacked” Tara during last night’s Bound For Glory PPV in Irvine, CA was MMA fighter Kim Couture (the ex-wife of UFC fighter Randy Couture). The goal was to play it off as a shoot since the cameras barely caught it and Tara sold it by walking off and then later returning to the match. The Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Online is reporting that Couture spoke with Vince Russo after doing the angle. While not confirmed, it is possible many in the company were not clued in about the angle to add more realism.
