Jason Powell is reporting that Matt Morgan has been informing colleagues of his that he was granted his release from his TNA contract on Tuesday. Sources within TNA indicated that Morgan had requested to be released by TNA over a month ago. Morgan’s last appearance on TNA television was during the 4/25 Impact Wrestling losing in a match to Sting.
Morgan remains listed as part of the TNA roster as of Tuesday evening.
