According to a report by Mike Johnson, Taz’s current deal with TNA is reportedly expiring soon and possibly as soon as the upcoming Impact Wrestling TV tapings this Saturday (6/29) in Las Vegas to tape shows for 7/4 and 7/11.
The news comes a few hours after Taz issued a cryptic tweet adding, “Couple of big wrestling shows in my “hometown” of Brooklyn! #RedHookNearBarclay.” TNA is holding an event on 7/5 in Brooklyn, while WWE is holding a RAW taping in Brooklyn as well on 7/15 the night after the Money in the Bank PPV.
Taz has since removed the tweet.
