TNA will be airing a “Destination X” special in place of Impact Wrestling on 7/18 from Louisville, Kentucky according to a report by Mike Johnson. The event, which at one point was a yearly Pay Per View event focusing on the X Division, is scheduled to feature the current X Division Champion getting a shot at the TNA Championship. This stipulation was started at the event in 2012 when Austin Aries challenged Bobby Roode for the title and won.
