Report: Court hearing for Steiner vs. TNA canceled

The court hearing scheduled for this past Friday (11/30) between Scott Steiner and TNA Wrestling was canceled. PWInsider.com reports that Steiner’s attorneys filed evidence on 11/26 that hurt TNA’s legal argument trying to get the lawsuit dismissed. TNA had pushed for the lawsuit to be dismissed noting the clause in Steiner’s contract where he was told to inform them of “potential breaches” and give the company 30 days to attempt to repair the breach before taking legal action. They argued that since Steiner failed to do this he had no case. Steiner’s attorneys filed a notice on 11/26 noting that the actual contract terms ran from January 2011 through April 2011 so the contract clause would “not apply to the issues” being brought forth by Steiner.
