According to TNA’s official website, Rob Van Dam will not be defending the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at next month’s Hardcore Justice PPV on Sunday, August 8. RVD is expected to be facing Jerry Lynn in the main event of the PPV to revive the classic rivalry between the two in ECW.
