According to a report by PWInsider, if Sting remains TNA World Champion heading into TNA Lockdown on April 19, he will become the longest reigning TNA World Champion to date and would be the longest world championship reign of his entire wrestling career making it one day longer than his reign as NWA Champion from 1990-1991 at 188 days. Samoa Joe’s reign as TNA World Champion is currently the longest at 182 days in 2008, but Sting would pass this if he heads into Lockdown as champion.
