Ring of Honor star out of action for 9 months after surgery

ROHwrestling.com is reporting that Matt Taven will be out of action for around 9 months after undergoing surgery on his left knee on Tuesday in Boston.

Taven suffered an injury to his knee at the Final Battle PPV was was diagnosed with a torn ACL, a ruptured lateral meniscus and a torn medial meniscus.

Taven’s doctor, Dr. Andreas Gomoll, noted how serious the injury was.

“I have never seen a meniscus rupture this bad in my medical career. It’s totally befuddling to me that he was able to continue the match.”
