Veteran UK wrestler Drew McDonald passes away

Drew McDonald, a veteran wrestler in the UK, passed away on Monday after a battle with cancer. McDonald spent time in Stampede Wrestling in the 1980s under the new Ben Doon McDonald and is a former British Heavyweight Champion. He remained active as a wrestler and ran a wrestling school in Leeds, England helping to train current WWE Diva Paige.

Paige added on Twitter, “RIP Drew McDonald. My heart is breaking. Wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for you. ‘You’re like a diamond I made myself.’ I love you.”
