Alberto El Patron (former WWE star Alberto Del Rio aka Alberto Rodriguez) has agreed to multiple dates with Ring of Honor in January starting with television tapings on 1/3 in Nashville. El Patron has also agreed to appear at the upcoming 3/1 PPV event in Las Vegas.
He currently has offers on the table from both Bellator MMA and TNA. El Patron currently holds a record of 9-5 in MMA with his last fight taking place in February 2010 for Cage of Combat just a few months before his official debut with WWE later that year in June.
Both offers from Bellator and TNA were described as “big money offers” according to reports by Dave Meltzer. He’s also said to have interest from the El Rey Network to take part in Lucha Underground and has expressed interest in wanting to work with them.
