To follow up on a report we had yesterday regarding Lucha Libre USA: Masked Warriors on MTV2, the company issued the following statement on their Facebook page regarding confusion that today’s show had been listed as the season finale.
“Hey guys. We know that some of the cable companies are saying that this Saturday is the season finale. This is not true. There was an error with a DirectTV posting. Keep watching and keep supporting. Spread the word!”
The Wrestling Observer reported Friday that the show was expected to be canceled “imminently” based on ratings. That doesn’t appear to be the case based on that statement by Lucha Libre USA.
