WTVD ABC 11 in Raleigh-Durham, NC is reporting that former WWE and TNA star Matt Hardy has been charged with possession of steroids after Moore County Sheriff’s Office officials searched Hardy’s home last week. Moore County Sheriff Lane Carter revealed that deputies searched Hardy’s home and seized 20 vials of anabolic steroids, one dose of the drug Ecstasy, drug paraphernalia and cash.
This news comes just days after Hardy was charged with DWI for the second time in less than a month. Hardy has been charged with “possession with intent to sell/deliver schedule III controlled substance (anabolic steroids), possession of schedule I controlled substance (Ecstasy), maintain a place to keep controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.”
He was released from the Moore County Detention center on promise to appear in court later in the month. This is one of many court appearances Hardy has coming up stemming from numerous arrests over the last few weeks.
