Japan promotions cancel events after earthquake

Following the aftermath of the earthquake in Japan, a series of wrestling promotions have canceled events due to large amounts of damage. The All Japan tour was officially canceled today in Ishinomaki and issued a statement stating that all wrestler and staff were okay. The scheduled March 17th show in Kesennuma has been canceled due to a major fire. New Japan canceled its March 12th show in Kasukabe and plan to announce more cancelations later. Zero-One had scheduled a press conference in Tokyo, but everyone was forced to evacuate the building. While the press conference itself was canceled, an announcement was scheduled to confirm Shinjiro Otani and Daichi Hashimoto (son of Shinya Hashimoto) against Big Van Vader and son Jesse White on March 27th in Tokyo.
