According to The Connecticut Mirror, Linda McMahon’s final Republican opposition, Rob Simmons, has dropped out of the Republican Senatorial race. This should pave the way for McMahon to run against Connecticut attorney general Richard Blumenthal for the U.S. Senate seat in the fall.
