It was announced at last night’s ROH Death Before Dishonor PPV in Las Vegas that a new stipulation is set for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship rematch between current champion Cody Rhodes and Nick Aldis in a few weeks.
The championship match, which is a rematch from ALL IN earlier this month, will now see Cody defend the title against Aldis in a best of three falls match. The match will main event the NWA 70th Anniversary event from Nashville on October 21.
As reported earlier, Jim Cornette will join Joe Galli (Championship Wrestling from Hollywood) on commentary for the event that will stream live on FITE TV. Tony Schiavone will join Cornette and Galli for commentary during the Cody vs. Aldis main event.
