Marty “The Boogyman” Wright has pulled himself from all upcoming appearances and conventions as his 90 day no compete clause with WWE prevents him from making any such appearances during that time period reports PWInsider. In regards to Wright claiming he has the rights for the gimmick and not WWE, many sources have stated to various wrestling media that is not the case and that Vince McMahon was the one who came up with the gimmick and the general ideas surrounding it.
