IGN in the UK has an interview up with Dwanye “The Rock” Johnson. Here are some highlights.
If he still follows WWE closely:
“God man I still love wrestling! I love wrestling… I don’t get a chance to watch it as much as I like, but I still know Vince McMahon and a lot of wrestlers are still my buddies.”
If he saw WrestleMania 25:
“No I didn’t ‘cos I was promoting this film – I’m saving it so don’t tell me what happened! But Wrestlemania is such a special time for those guys and I miss that feeling of being involved in it.”
On John Cena as another wrestler getting into acting:
“I don’t look at myself for being a trailblazer in any way, or paving the way or anything like that, I just know what serves me. John is… umm… he’s an interesting guy! And I wish him well in his movie career and, umm, everything else… Haha.”
