Austin Aries on becoming Impact World Champion
Newly crowned Impact World Champion Austin Aries took to Twitter to address his return to the company that aired Thursday night on Pop TV.
Aries noted that he would now be referring to the title as the Impact World Championship, not the Impact World Heavyweight Championship.
As noted earlier, Impact Wrestling has appeared to drop all references to the title previously being known as the Impact Global Championship following the transition away from the attempt at the Global Force Wrestling branding that is now dead.

More talent departures from roster
Mario Bokara, Idris Abraham and Ava Storie are no longer with Impact Wrestling. They join James Storm, EC3, Bobby Lashley and Jeremy Borash as the latest departures.
PWInsider.com reports Bokaro recently underwent ACL surgery.
