Trevor Lee, a former X Division and Tag Team Champion, has officially parted ways with Impact Wrestling according to a report by PWInsider this week.
Per the report, Lee gave notice to Impact officials that he was finishing up. This likely took place at the Impact TV tapings earlier this week in Las Vegas. The Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Online reports Lee’s deal ends on December 31 of this year.
The same report indicated that WWE has interest in Lee and bringing him into the NXT developmental system. WWE is expected to announce forthcoming talent signings in the beginning of January, which would match up with his Impact deal expiring.
