Although not confirmed, it was believed that Jim Ross would be meeting with WWE this week to discuss terms of a new contract. JR signed a short-term deal with the company a few months ago. I’m sure he will more than likely comment on the situation over on his official website when news like this starts to make the rounds. It’s no secret TNA has every intention to try and snatch him up, especially with Impact moving to Monday night’s on March 8. They had already made a play to sign him before the January 4 special.
