While not scheduled to be confirmed until this Thursday’s episode of TNA Impact Wrestling, the planned main event for next Sunday’s Turning Point PPV is Bobby Roode defending the TNA Championship against AJ Styles.
As we reported on yesterday, Styles suffered an ankle injury at the 11/4 TNA house show in Battle Creek, Michigan. Styles didn’t wrestle at the show in Toledo and wasn’t scheduled to wrestle at tonight’s in Windsor. This leaves the status of the Turning Point main event in the air. Styles said on Twitter that he hopes he can wrestle this Sunday.
