Jey Uso arrested for DWI following WWE live event in Hidalgo, Texas, WWE comments

The Monitor is reporting that WWE star Jey Uso (Joshua Samuel Fatu) was arrested early Sunday morning (January 14) for driving while intoxicated.

Fatu, 32, was booked into the Hidalgo County sheriff’s jail at 3:07 a.m. local time on Sunday morning and released on a $500 bond at 2:41 p.m. later that day.

As one half of the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions with brother Jimmy Uso, Fatu appeared at a WWE live event earlier that day.

WWE issued the following statement:

“Joshua Fatu is responsible for his own personal actions. We are investigating the matter and awaiting information from local law enforcement officials.”

No word if the arrest will prevent him from appearing on tonight’s Smackdown Live.
