It doesn’t appear to be a lock that Tommy Dreamer will be leaving WWE next month as he was offered a new contract reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. A storyline began earlier this year that Dreamer vowed to win the ECW Championship before June 6 as that would be the only way he would stay as his deal was running up. While they have mentioned the storyline off and on, it is possible they might bend the rule and setup a possible title match at the Extreme Rules PPV on June 7. There have been reports that the company is interested in making Dreamer the new GM of ECW to replace interim GM Tiffany, but that hasn’t been confirmed and is purely speculation at this point.
