Former NXT Champion Drew McIntyre took to Twitter on Monday afternoon to address the injury he suffered at NXT TakeOver: WarGames two weeks ago in Houston.
While McIntyre didn’t provide many details, he did confirm that an injury took place during his match against Andrade “Cien” Almas, where he lost the NXT Championship.
As reported earlier, McIntyre’s injury is believed to be a torn bicep. His tweet seemed to indicate he would be missing significant time. WWE has yet to officially comment.
