According to a report by The Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Online, there are localized advertisements playing today in New Orleans promoting the upcoming WWE Extreme Rules PPV on June 7 announcing the main event as Jeff Hardy defending the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Edge. A short promo plays where Hardy says he plans to walk in as champion and walk out as champion. While changes are always subject to change and it doesn’t necessarily mean a title change will take place tonight, the belief is that WWE wouldn’t film something like this unless it was the plan later down the line. The fact that the ad is already playing may indicate the title change was scheduled for tonight.
