As noted earlier, Time-Warner has placed a $33 million bid to buy the assets of Midway Games, which recently produced the “TNA Impact” video game. The Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Online is reporting however that Time-Warner would not be buying the rights to have the TNA video game. Samoa Joe stated in a recent interview with ESPN.com that production for “TNA Impact 2” is currently underway. The belief at this point is that whatever is left of Midway that is not sold to someone else would finish the game or the title would just be dropped.
