Report: Nervousness on ROH’s future

There are said to be a number of people within Ring of Honor who are worried about the company’s future reports The Figure Four Weekly Newsletter.

The company announced last week that they were canceling scheduled TV tapings for HDNet on July 17 and 18, which was a decision made by HDNet since they had so much footage already taped that they were believed to be caught up through September as is. So taping ahead too far in advance could have created some big problems.

ROH itself has announced a very limited summer schedule consisting of only TV tapings and no real traditional house show type events except for shows in Toronto on July 24 and 25, although events have been announced from August through December on their website at this link. Despite this, the combination of less TV tapings, dropping PPV and less dates on the road has some very nervous.
