11/8 WWE Smackdown sees drop in viewers going head-to-head with election night coverage in the U.S.

Last night’s 11/8 WWE Smackdown Live drew 1.92 million viewers on Tuesday night on the USA Network according to a report by Showbuzzdaily.com.

This is down from last week’s show that drew 2.19 million viewers. Smackdown came in at No. 29 overall on cable on Tuesday night in the 18-49 demographic.

Coverage of the 2016 Presidential Election in the United States dominated on cable last night taking up nearly a majority of the top 50 shows on cable.

Smackdown, headlined by Dean Ambrose, Kane and James Ellsworth vs. Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper in a six man tag team main event, averaged a 0.56 among adults 18-49, down from last week’s 0.67 rating.
