Following the conclusion of tonight’s 9/20 WWE Smackdown Live main event between John Cena and Dean Ambrose, WWE World Champion AJ Styles showed up and attacked both Cena and Ambrose following the main event match.
Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan came out and announced a WWE World Championship rematch from Backlash where AJ Styles will defend his title against Dean Ambrose on next week’s 9/27 Smackdown Live from Cleveland.
