WWE revealed Emma suffered an injury to her back at last week’s 5/8 live event in Rio Rancho when she tagged with Lana against Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch.
Emma experienced a ruptured disc in her back that will now require surgery according to WWE ringside physician Dr. Chris Robinson.
No word at this time how long the surgery will keep her out of the ring.
“Emma has a ruptured disc that will require her to have surgery. She came to us in a great deal of pain, which seemed to be increasing. She was then given an M.R.I., which revealed that further action would need to be taken. Unfortunately, the Superstar’s estimated recovery time cannot be determined until after her procedure is complete.”
