WWE announced on Monday night that the first recipient of the Vincent J. McMahon Legacy of Excellence Award will be presented next week on RAW. The company did not reveal ahead of time who it would be and that they simply were deserving of this new award.
WWE.com added the following.
“Michael Cole called the award the ‘most prestigious award that WWE will ever present’ during Monday’s Raw. The honor is named after the founder of WWE and WWE Hall of Famer, Vincent J. McMahon. He added that no one has deserved this award until now.”
