In keeping in line with their recent releases of The History of the WWE Heavyweight Championship and The History of the WWE Intercontinental Championship; WWE will be releasing The History of the World Heavyweight Championship on December 1st. It will be a three disc DVD release and while there is no match listing for the DVD available yet one would have to assume that they might include some WCW “Big Gold Belt” history also which would be interesting since WWE has always maintained that the World Heavyweight Title’s history goes back to 2002 and is not in anyway connected to the WCW World Championship.
