An article by TMZ on Saturday described Jeff Hardy’s nasty bump on Friday night as “unplanned” during the 1/9 Impact Wrestling “Lockdown” special taping in New York City. As suspected, it turns out the bump was indeed planned and wasn’t an accident as it was a way for TNA to write Hardy off TNA television for the time being as he is unable to be part of the upcoming UK tour. Hardy’s 2009 drug conviction prevents him from entering the UK.
