TNA star Magnus ended up getting injured when he defeated Jeff Hardy to become the new TNA Champion during an Impact Wrestling taping in Orlando back in December according to a report by Dave Meltzer. He suffered the injury two days before they taped his unification match with AJ Styles. This was one of the reasons why the match featured so much interference as he was limited with what he could do in the ring.
