Former TNA World Tag Team Champion Tomko will be revealed as the mystery person who attacked TNA World Champion AJ Styles in a pre-taped segment that aired on last night’s TNA Impact. Prowrestling.net is reporting that while it isn’t believed Tomko has signed a long-term deal with TNA, Vince Russo made the push to bring him back in. Were told he was the subject of some joking backstage among some TNA talent as he was overheard saying how over he was in his latest run with WWE in what only ended up being a tryout match that went horribly wrong. Whether he meant his latest run or his previous run in WWE before his jump to TNA in 2006 remains to be seen. Either way, there were many wrestlers rolling their eyes and surprised that he would have an ego considering how badly his last stint (or lack there of) went in WWE.
